ABOUT OUR COVER

"Edge of Cedar Swamp" by David Hagerbaumer

"Circa 1940, my hunting crony and I got the notion to hunt some grouse up in Wisconsin. We traveled up there in my Model A Ford, and sought out an old muskie-fishing partner by the name of Perry Winkler who lived out East of Green Lake. Winkler had setters, and acted as our guide. This painting was done from memory of the great grouse hunt some sixty years ago." David Hagerbaumer's work is available from Pendleton's American Fine Art, PO Box 668, Marshfield, MO 65706 or call 417-859-5319.
